When he was a puppy you could walk him for an hour and a half and he still wasn’t tired! He’s slowed down a bit now and is pretty happy pottering around at home most of the time and doing neighbourhood watch at the front door. But I always let him sniff my shoes after a walk.

Making a batch of my reusable shopping bags. I wish I could actually work that fast! Before this step I’ve cut, seen and overlocked the base bag. I’ve also cut, printed and transferred the pocket images and fabric. This is me cutting and pinning the pockets, then I sewed them off-camera before pinning them to the base bags. After that a quick sew onto the bags and then folding them all up.

When I travel I like to purchase art of the places I’ve visited, by local artists. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase these directly from the artists who painted them on my recent holiday. I got frames for them today and I’m excited to be able to out them up on my travel gallery wall soon!

Down through the centuries dogs have been our loyal companions. I was excited to see them represented in works at the Louvre. I’m sure there were more, but these were the ones that stuck out to me.

The Louvre was overwhelming in the best kind of way, and I hope I’ll be able to do back again one day.
